Brief Introduction:
Precise quantum control over various types of physical properties is essential in many scientific and technological fields. The Xu group focuses on developing novel quantum control methodologies based on nonlinear optical (NLO) effects. We investigate light-matter interactions spanning multiple domains, particularly condensed matter physics and quantum engineering. Through theoretical analyses, first-principles calculations, and in close collaboration with experimentalists, we aim to make contributions in both fundamental physics and practical applications of nonlinear optical effects.
Recently, we are particularly interested in optical quantum coherent control, amplifying optical responses, non-Hermitian physics, etc.
